Terms of Service

Last updated September 7, 2026. These terms govern your purchase and use of CitePeek reports (“the Service”), operated by CitePeek (“we”, “us”). By ordering a report you agree to them.

1. What you are buying

A CitePeek report is a one-time, automated audit of how AI assistants (currently ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Perplexity) name and cite a website you specify, plus one follow-up re-run about 45 days later. The re-run shows updated scores and sources; its ranked actions are locked unless you purchase again. Each purchase covers one website URL.

2. Delivery

Reports are generated automatically after payment and usually take a few minutes. We email the report link to the address you provide. If a run fails, we re-run it manually; if we cannot produce a report, we refund you in full (see our refund policy).

3. Report links

Reports live at private, unguessable URLs. There is no login. Anyone who has the link can view the report, so treat it like a shared document. We may disable a link on request from the purchaser.

4. No guarantees about AI models

Scores are measurements of third-party AI systems at the time of the run. Those systems change constantly and we do not control them. We do not guarantee that following the report’s actions will change how any assistant names or cites your brand, or that scores will improve between runs.

5. Acceptable use

You may only audit websites you own, operate, or are authorised to research. You may not use the Service to harass, defame, or scrape third parties, or resell reports as your own product without permission.

6. Your content and ours

You keep all rights to your website. You may freely share, copy and adapt your report and the drafting prompts within it. The CitePeek scoring methodology, report design and code remain ours.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the report concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you purchase applies to that purchase. Questions: hello@citepeek.com.
